1. General Information.

Marketing Manager module for Rodopi is implemented as two basic tools.

Customer Leads allows you to get market information from interactive pages on your web site and then use this information to contact customers.

Referrer's Report allows you to see how many visitors came to your site as a result of the advertisement, and check if the ad has generated any new subscribers.

4. Configuration.
   4.1.Configuring Marketing Manager module.

   4.2.Usage Filters.
Marketing Manager install usage filter for each tool. You have to configure each usage filter to have the correct URL address of your WEB server. Go to Administration/Usage Filters/ Filter Installations page  to check if the filters are installed. You should see Leads Harvester for Customer Leads tool and Referrers Import for Referrers tool. You have to write your own usage filter for Lead Harvester because Rodopi do not know what kind of interactive tool will be used to collect customer's information and the format of the log files. To write your own usage filter follow the instructions in this document UsageFilters.pdf. The usage filter have to generate XML text as described in the document with the following fields:

The all fields are not mandatory.What kind of information will be imported in Rodopi depends on your marketing needs and usage filter you have written.

   4.3.Assign Leads to Sales Person.
Assign Leads to Sales Person allows manager to configure what percent of the leads will be processed by given sales person. If the total does not make 100% error to be issued. The manager have to enter the password and the percent for each sales person/telemarketer and click the Save button to store data.

 

5. Customer Leads Report.

Customer Leads Report reports harvested data to different destinations for different purposes. You have to select criteria to generate the report. The criteria includes:

After selecting criteria click Generate button to view the report.

5.1. Subscribe Customer.
Subscribe Customer allows you to make on-line subscription for service using the standard Rodopi subscription form. To do that select a customer from the Leads report and click Subscribe button. You will see the standard subscription form filled out with customer's information.

5.2. View Details.

View Details allows you to view customer's information and edit Processing Status of this leads. To do that select a customers from the Leads report and click Details button. You will see the following form:

You can change the Processing Status field depends on the work you have done and click the Change button to store the information.

 

5.3. Notes.

Notes allows you to record notes in Rodopi database for the selected customer leads. To do that select customer from the Leads report and click Notes button.

Enter the notes and click Save button to store data.

 

5.4. Export Data.

Export Data exports the Leads report in comma delimited format. The purpose is to provide a convenient export to standard software like Excel, ACT, Goldmine etc. for further processing. By mailing house as example.
To do that select criteria and click Export button. You will see the report in comma delimited format in a new window.
To save the report in a file go to "File/Save As" menu. Enter the file name and select "Text file (*.txt)" for file type.

 

6. Referrer's Reports.

Referrer's Reports gives you the opportunity to keep track of all users referred to your site from other websites. It will also give you the number of users that are actually subscribed for any service in your RODOPI installation. Referrer's Reports you will receive:

Using Marketing Manager Referrer's Reports, you can determine which advertisements are more successful, both in terms of the number of visitors to your site and the number of actual subscribers.
