How It Works

The module will extract relevant data from your Rodopi database and store it into a multidimensional database called an OLAP cube. In an OLAP Cube each data attribute is considered a separate "dimension". The Rodopi OLAP cube has the following eleven dimensions: service plan, sales person, cash flow, area code, city, customer type, billing period, zip code, transaction type, time and reoccurrence. Once the cube has been created you can query it by one or more of these eleven dimensions (attributes). For example, all web hosting plans sold by sales representative X in period Y.

Many standard reporting software products such as MS Excel, Crystal reports etc. support OLAP cubes. Once the Rodopi module has created the OLAP cube your employees can connect to it with their Excel and generate reports, graphs, charts etc.
