Rodopi Software is Integrated with Navini Networks
Automated Wireless Broadband OSS Solution Currently Deployed
SAN DIEGO, CA, January 4, 2005 – Rodopi Software, an industry leader in next generation operations support system (OSS) and back office automation software, announced today a successful integration with the Navini Networks plug-n-play nomadic wireless broadband system which is deployed in several rural markets in the Southeastern United States through its partner, Tri-State Broadband.
Rodopi’ s 100 percent web-based application enables wireless ISP (WISP) operators using Navini’s high-speed wireless broadband equipment with the Ripwave Element Management System (Ripwave EMS) to provision and manage end user customer services online 24/7. The Rodopi/Navini solution also offers WISPs automated online billing and customer care.
“WISPs can now quickly and cost effectively roll out broadband access and value added services within a web enabled, user centric paradigm.” said Todd Benjamin, president and CEO of Rodopi. “The efficiency and the economics of the Rodopi/Navini system frees wireless service providers to spend less time configuring their networks and more time acquiring customers and improving service quality.”
“Rodopi’s OSS software easily integrates into the Navini Ripwave EMS to create a very economic and robust drop-in software management program that can administer network and back office functions for small to medium-sized WISPs,” said Sai Subramanian, vice president of Marketing at Navini. “The combination of Ripwave EMS and Rodopi provides WISPs the ability to manage subscriber, network security, bandwidth, and customer interfaces with a single, integrated application rather than several stand-alone systems.”
Rodopi and Navini are working with other wireless operators to leverage Navini’s unique technology and Rodopi’s powerful integration and automation platform.
