Rockliffe And Rodopi Partner To Provide Integrated E-mail And Billing Solution For Service Providers And Telcos

CAMPBELL, CA AND SAN DIEGO, CA Jul 18, 2002 - Rockliffe Inc., the developer of e-mail and messaging infrastructure software, and Rodopi, the developer of automated provisioning, billing and customer care software, today announced that they have tightly integrated Rockliffe MailSite SP with the Rodopi Billing Software.

Service providers and telcos using this integrated solution have a single, centralized provisioning database for all subscribers. This means that service providers can reduce administration costs and increase revenues by billing subscribers quicker and more accurately. This integration also makes it possible for ISPs to offer a single sign-on (SSO) since e-mail and account passwords will be the same. ISPs do not have to duplicate any data entry or build any programmatic interfaces between the e-mail and billing systems themselves. This means that ISPs can bring their services to market much faster and they can deliver much higher levels of customer service.

Rockliffe and Rodopi have fully integrated the Rodopi subscriber database with the Rockliffe MailSite SP subscriber database. Service providers can now create a subscriber account in Rodopi and the Rockliffe MailSite SP cluster will automatically create a mailbox. As long as the account is active in Rodopi, then the subscriber will be able to send and receive e-mail through Rockliffe MailSite SP.
