Tri-State Broadband Strikes Agreement with Rodopi Software
Rural Customers Receive “Best-of-Breed” Broadband Services
Atlanta, GA, November 3, 2004 – Tri-State Broadband and Rodopi Software have signed an agreement that will raise the quality of service to rural broadband customers. “World-class service has always been our goal,” stated Tri-State President and CEO, Carl Peede. “We selected the Rodopi OSS platform in order to give our customers the same level of service that is available in larger, metropolitan markets.”
The agreement will result in state-of-the-art operational software being integrated with state-of-the-art high-speed wireless Internet technology. This will allow Tri-State customers in rural communities to manage their accounts via the Web. Customers can determine choice of features and services online at any time of the day or night without having to call for assistance. The Rodopi Easy OSS platform also provides Tri-State customers with enhanced subscriber security and extends Tri-State’s ability to offer wireless access for homeland security and emergency uses.
Rodopi Software is an industry leader in next generation operations support system (OSS) and back office automation software for IP service providers. Tri-State will utilize Rodopi’s Easy OSS Web-based platform to automate billing, provisioning and customer service in each market. “The agreement with Tri-State Broadband is a key step in leveraging our advanced technologies to serve the needs of these communities,” explained Todd D. Benjamin, Rodopi president and CEO. “Tri-State is ahead of the curve in deploying fixed-wireless services in rural areas of the country.
