SP4 Available for Download
SP4 is now available to Rodopi v. 5.4 customers. SP4 expands Rodopi’s powerful billing features and expands invoicing capabilities by offering:
- Upgraded credit card processing functionality
- Late fee assessment and collection system
- Breakdown for all services on Rodopi-produced invoices
New Telephony Module
Available now, Rodopi’s new telephony module provides new features to streamline the import of call detail records (CDR) information. New features include increased system throughput, increased flexibility for CDR rules and ready-made usage filters for Nortel Succession AMA, BroadWorks (v.11.0 and 11.1) and Cisco BTS 10200 CDRs.
Upgraded BroadSoft® BroadWorks® Module to be Available in Q1, 2005
Now, in addition to providing automated customer sign-up, service activation and payment processing, the popular Rodopi/BroadSoft module has recently been upgraded for a greater level of automation than ever before! The new module provides more flexible usage import functionality (including the ability to process call detail records based on user number), service provider ID or calling number, enhanced device provisioning and group and service provider provisioning.
Cisco BACC Integration Module Available in Q1, 2005
The Cisco Broadband Access Center for Cable (BACC) integration module, slated to be released in Q1/2005, will allow providers offering satellite and cable broadband services the ability to integrate Rodopi with DOCSIS-compliant provisioning. The new module supports host network operator (HNO) and virtual network operator (VNO) configurations, including modem (MAC) pool management, wholesale and retail billing, and branded redirect on signup.
Hosted RADIUS
Rodopi will soon launch the first-ever Hosted RADIUS service. Available Q1/2005, this innovative new service allows service providers the option of outsourcing their AAA RADIUS server requirements. A natural compliment to EasyOSS™, Rodopi Hosted RADIUS provides feature rich accounting, authentication, and authorization.

Camvera Networks Introduces Rodopi/Navini Integration to the WISP Market
Camvera Networks, Inc.( formerly Tri-State Broadband) of Atlanta, GA has recently deployed the successful integration of Rodopi software with Navini Networks’ Ripwave Element Management System (Ripwave EMS) plug-n-play portable wireless broadband system in several markets in the Southeastern United States. Aradial Now Supports Rodopi AAA RADIUS Interface
Aradial Technologies, Inc. now offers full support for Rodopi’s AAA RADIUS interface. The two companies have successfully completed interoperability testing of the integration, which utilizes CORBA technology. The new module is currently available and provides full authentication integration and accounting in real time for VoIP, mobile communications (GPRS and 3G), and WiFi hotspot users.

Todd Benjamin to Give Presentations at IT EXPO Miami 2005, Broadband Wireless World, and ISP Summit
Todd Benjamin, Rodopi’s president and CEO, is a featured speaker at IT EXPO Miami 2005. Todd’s presentation, Next Generation OSS – Leveraging Revenue-Producing Resources will take place on Friday, February 25 from 2:30 – 3:15 pm. Todd will also deliver a presentation with Camvera Networks and Navini Networks at the Broadband Wireless World show in Las Vegas, NV on Friday, April 22 from 10:00 – 10:45 am. The presentation, entitled Case Study: “One-Touch” Residential Wireless Network System will discuss Camvera’s implementation and deployment of their wireless network using Navini wireless broadband equipment and Rodopi software.
