Release of Service Pack 1 for Rodopi OSS 5.5
Highlights, New Functionality, and Bug Fixes
Service Pack 1 for Release 5.5 is now available to 5.5 customers with a current Rodopi support plan. Enjoy several new enhancements including the following:

• Pricing overrides – support for customer specific price adjustments
• Deferred billing – add-in to delay billing until hardware is delivered and installed
• Early termination fees – automatically apply termination fees to cancellations
• Credit card number mask in customer record screen
• Enhanced prepaid accounts and services
• And more

A new .Net customer portal, improved reporting, policy based rating, new usage guiding and AAA services, and enhanced support for voice over IP are just a few of the enhancements we’ve implemented in response to customer input.

New Radius Integrations for Vircom and Radiator
Rodopi AAA Service
Rodopi is pleased to announce the availability of new integrations to complement the Rodopi high performance AAA service. Support for Vircom and Radiator is now available for users of Release 5.5. The AAA service in 5.5 is flexible and allows easy addition of vendor specific attributes, support for prepaid services, and redundancy. Contact your sales representative for more information.

New Integration for Motorola Prizm EMS
Automate Subscriber Provisioning and Tiered Service Plans
Rodopi announces the availability of an integration module to support Motorola’s new Prizm Element Management System for Canopy wireless and Broadband over Powerline networks. Rodopi with Prizm provides advanced management capabilities for network operators seeking to automate user provisioning, provide differentiated service plans, and manage network and CPE assets. New Integration for Soma Networks
Broadband Wireless, Data and Voice Provisioning, and Integrated Diagnostics
SOMA Networks offers an exciting new broadband wireless and WiMAX network solution. Rodopi is proud to announce the availability of a new package to support deployment of the SOMA solution. Features include pre-packaged voice and data service plans, automated end user modem provisioning and self-care, and on demand diagnostics and performance history for service providers. New Integration for CCH Tax Calculation
Automate Calculation of Sales and Other Taxes from External Tables
Rodopi is pleased to announce the availability of a new plug-in to enable tax calculation using tax tables from CCH. Many services require the application of sales and other taxes based on federal, state, and local jurisdictions. Enhanced Integration for Viasat SurfBeam®
VNO Management, Bandwidth Management, and Integrated Diagnostics
Rodopi and ViaSat Inc. have worked together to produce an advanced virtual network operator (VNO) solution to support broadband satellite access and enhanced service deployments. The new joint solution manages VNO bandwidth allocation, modem channel distribution, and automated optimization and rebalancing of SurfBeam networks. Additional functionality includes on demand and historical performance and diagnostic information, refined operational workflows, and wholesale and retail billing capabilities. New Database API
Enhanced Reporting and Data Retrieval
In response to customer requests for better access to the wealth of information contained in the Rodopi databases, we’ve introduced a new Database API to make retrieving key information easier and more efficient. The Database API is available with the Rodopi Reporting Module and includes a set of published and supported SQL tables available to any standard SQL client. Typical applications include GL integration, business intelligence analysis, and management reporting. Please contact your sales representative for more information.

Activities
Motorola Channel Summit and Internet Telephony Expo
We’ve been busy this fall! In addition to all of our R&D and customer activities we sponsored and exhibited at the Motorola Channel Summit in Tucson, AZ in September. In October we exhibited at the TMC Internet Telephony Expo in San Diego. Additional personnel have been dispatched to key industry events throughout North America and key international destinations.
